Semiconductor Manufacturing Platform

Kaynes Semicon is a semiconductor manufacturing platform structured around production assembly and production test. The platform operates through six specialised semiconductor divisions spanning research, engineering, assembly, reliability, and system integration, with production assembly and production test forming the manufacturing core.

Operating as the semiconductor manufacturing arm of Kaynes Technology, Kaynes Semicon extends decades of high-reliability electronics manufacturing experience into backend semiconductor execution.

Mrs. Savitha Ramesh

Chairperson of the Board

Savitha Ramesh, is the Promoter and Chairperson of our Company. She has been a part of our Company since 1996. She holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Madras. She has approx. 25 years of experience in electronic manufacturing services industry. She is responsible for the overall implementation of the process and controls across the Company.

Mr. Ramesh Kunhikannan

Managing Director

Ramesh Kunhikannan, is the Promoter and Managing Director. He has been a part of our Company since its inception in 1988. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from National Institute of Engineering, Mysore. He has 33 years of experience in electronic manufacturing services industry.

Mrs. Poornima Ranganath

Independent Director

PoornimaRanganath is an Independent Director on the Board of our Company. [She is a law graduate from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore. She has [29] years of experience in corporate and commercial laws, human resource laws & management, women issues and matters relating to harassment of women at workplace & assisting the management in dealing with such issues, general contract laws, assistance in contract negotiations, real estate deals, general legal advice. She is the founder and managing partner at Law Assist, a full-service law firm advising clients on corporate laws, contract negotiations, human resource laws with special focus on foreign companies operating in India.

Mr. Raghu Panicker

CEO, Kaynes SemiCon

An Electronics and Communication Engineer and self-motivated business leader with over 35 years of experience across industries, cultures, roles, and geographies.
Began his career at Semiconductor Complex Ltd. (SCL), a Government of India fab, in 1991, spending 10 years in R&D. He then served as Country Manager at Mentor Graphics (now Siemens EDA) for 20 years. Prior to joining Kaynes, Raghu led the APAC business at Tessolve Semiconductor for three years.

Hernanie Soliman Torres

GM – Factory, Kaynes SemiCon

A senior manufacturing leader with deep experience in factory operations, production scale-up, and shopfloor excellence within high-mix, high-reliability semiconductor and electronics manufacturing environments.
Leads end-to-end factory execution at Kaynes SemiCon, driving ramp-up, throughput, quality, and operational discipline across OSAT production lines.

Azni Abd Rahman

Head – Operations (OSAT), Kaynes SemiCon

A seasoned OSAT operations leader with deep experience in running high-volume, high-reliability semiconductor assembly and test operations, spanning production, yield, quality, and continuous improvement.
Leads day-to-day OSAT operations at Kaynes SemiCon, driving stable ramp-up, operational discipline, and execution excellence across assembly and test lines.

Ganesan S

Vice President, Kaynes SemiCon

A senior operations and program leader with experience spanning manufacturing execution, program delivery, and cross-functional coordination in complex, high-tech environments.
Drives program execution and operational alignment at Kaynes SemiCon, ensuring delivery discipline across technology, manufacturing, and partner interfaces.

Phaneendra TS

SVP – ATE Test Engineering, Kaynes SemiCon

A senior ATE leader with 35+ years of deep domain expertise across semiconductor test engineering, spanning Test Development, Product & System Validation (PSV), bench characterisation, and NPI.
Brings leadership and execution experience from National Semiconductor, Intel, Tessolve, and C-DAC, with a track record of building and scaling high-complexity ATE test capabilities across global semiconductor environments.

Jaypal Dorai

Head – Reliability & Failure Analysis, Kaynes SemiCon

Semiconductor reliability and FA leader with 27 years of experience across qualification, root-cause analysis, and high-volume manufacturing environments.
Leads enterprise reliability strategy and FA capability build-out to strengthen product robustness and customer confidence across OSAT programs.

Mr. Wasi Uddin

Senior Manager – R&D & Training and Director, Technology Transfer Office (TTO), Kaynes SemiCon

A semiconductor technology leader with strong research-to-manufacturing depth, spanning advanced device engineering, backend integration, and technology industrialisation across academia and high-tech manufacturing environments.
Previously a Senior Scientist at IIT Bombay; Ph.D. (IIT Delhi, 2021), M.Tech Gold Medalist and Visvesvaraya Fellow. Brings hands-on expertise in WLP, MCM, BEOL process optimisation, and lab-to-fab technology transfer for production-scale deployment.

Sumit Verma

Head – Investor Relations & Business Strategy, Kaynes SemiCon

A strategy and business transformation leader with experience across global consulting and financial services, bringing a disciplined, data-driven approach to building scalable, high-margin businesses in complex technology domains.
An early member of the Kaynes SemiCon leadership team, working closely with the CEO on growth strategy, partnerships, M&A, capital allocation narrative, and investor communications to build long-term global competitiveness in OSAT and advanced packaging.
